In our workshops you will learn about wild edible plants, herbs and cook up some tasty recipes with your new found ingredients. We offer a hands on dining experience like no other. Do-it-yourself dining experiences are becoming popular in Sweden and we want to take the concept to Ireland. By foraging for your very own produce you can make the most delicious meals.
From wild herbs, to berries, to designing the ultimate wild menu we will give you the skills you need to become an expert forager. Using wild ingredients is a fun way to experiment with nature and seasonal foods. Every season brings with it new plants and produce to find. Summer wild week salads, wild herbal teas, tempura battered flowers and coastal delights are just some of the items we will learn how to work with in the kitchen.
We can cater for groups of between 4 – 10 persons. Each member of the group will participate in active foraging followed by a four course dining experience and receive a free wild recipe pamphlet at the end of the workshop.

3pm – Wild food walk and talk – We will forage for seasonal ingredients and learn about the wild plants around us.
5pm – Cooking class let by two foragers. We will show you how to use the wild ingredients on offer and get a taste of the land.
6pm – Pairing Wild Food and Drinks – While our goods are on the hob and in the oven we will prepare some wild cocktails to go with our treats.
8pm – We say goodbye for now and wish you well on your next foraging adventure.
