The Dievole Foraging Tour, in the splendid setting of the Natural Path, one of the most pristine habitats in the Chianti Classico – Tuscany area, is dedicated to those who love to recognise and collect spontaneous herbs and then discover their therapeutic and culinary virtues. Under the guidance of an expert, several types of wild herbs will be identified and collected, of which it will be possible to note all the characteristics in an elegant herbarium with a cover decorated with Dievole’s flowers and herbs.
At the end of this walk, our executive chef, Monika Filipinska will welcome you in the kitchen of our restaurant, Novecento – in a beautiful 18th century villa – for an exciting cooking class; together you will prepare succulent dishes from the Tuscan traditions using the wild herbs collected previously. Before savoring the meals prepared in the elegant rooms of our restaurant, you will have the opportunity to participate in a unique testing session, during which, guided by a sommelier, you will discover the poetry that Dievole habitat and its terroir infuse in our red wines and virgin olive oil Chianti Classico DOP.
