What to Expect
A place for all seasons, the Algarve is an ideal region for orchard tours and outdoor adventures throughout the year. With its mild climate, beautiful beaches and rich fruit industry you are in for some treats when you arrive. Our orchard walking tour takes you along quiet roads. You will enjoy a mixture of picturesque villages, seascapes and vast citrus groves.
If you are looking for sun, sea and citrus orchards than this is the perfect tour for you. The warm climate in the Algarve region of Portugal makes it the perfect area for growing almond trees, orange trees and citrus trees.
Enjoy staying in old hotels and vineyards on the cliff edges overlooking sandy beaches and small fishermen villages. Those beaches are flat with a few rolling hills and suit the desire for a smooth ride, making it perfect for beginner cyclists who want to leisurely cycle around the region.
Feel the warm sun on your shoulders as you cycle through some of the most majestic landscapes in Southern Portugal. Along the way we will visit some farms and learn about the production of fruit in the region. On your walking days you will enjoy stunning green landscapes and native oak forest tracks. Country lanes take you into the lush green interior passing large reservoirs, alpine-like meadows and native oak forests.
