Before lunch we are treated to a taste of the land with some local forest foraging. After we have our fill of warm soda bread and homemade soup and sandwiches we travel to the stunning wild atlantic coastline. Here we learn about the shellfish of Ireland and methods of traditional fishing still used by the local communities.
To end our tour on a high we take you to one of Ireland’s most famous mountains, Croagh Patrick. Today’s walk will be slightly tough so those who are up for a challenge will love it. If you want to opt out you can enjoy a cup of Irish coffee in the nearby cafe at the bottom of the mountain while we climb.
