How does a Food and Foraging Tour differ from other types of travel?
Our unique foodie adventures are designed to give you some real treats and learn about the best in local cuisine. It is much more than providing a taste of the foods on offer and all about learning about the part the food has to play in the culture, land and traditions of a region. From visiting local markets to cooking classes to picking fruits from the orchards, everything we offer is an authentic way to reconnect with the food of a place. Once you have gotten to know the roots you will taste delicious cuisine and get to know the iconic attractions and history of the area.
How will a food tour benefit the company and employees?
Travel not only motivates employees, it also gives employees a chance to reconnect with nature, strenghten their relatinoships in an organisation and encourage employees to get creative. Rewarding your most valued employees with a special trip is a wonderful way to recognise hard work and achievements. It also demonstrates that you care about your employees wellbeing. Todays workforce care about their surroundings, the environment and sustainable issues are on their minds. Our food and foraging tours focus on these themes.
Can we change the itineraries if needed?
Yes, there is full flexibility with the itineraries before the tour begins. Once the trip is in place with all of the activities arranged there must be advance notice of at least 48 hours for any changes needed.
What transport is used?
We use a range of transport from the start of the trip to the end. From private coaches to unique boat trips, to bike hire and more. We organise the transport based on the itinerary and tailor it to the needs of each group.
What accommodation is used?
Depending on the group size we work with numerous amazing hotels across Europe. We also offer self-catering accommodation facilities and if we are doing in home cooking classes and our foraging courses as part of the itinerary we will use the self-catering options.
