This full day private tour starts with a visit of Évora, a town classified as World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1986. Évora is considered as a museum town, whose roots date back to the Roman era, hence the many intact Roman civilization vestiges found throughout town.

Next stop is the medieval village Monsaraz, protected by its walls, with shale streets and houses painted in white to keep the living areas as cool as possible from the sun’s heat. With its narrow streets full of charming hidden corners, it provides a stunning view of the Alentejo farmland and also the huge Alqueva water dam.

This is followed by a wine tasting at a well-known winery of this Alentejo region, where you will be shown all the wine production process followed by a wine tasting.
