Crop to cup: coffee, tea and cacao farms you can visit

Three crops that most of us drink every day and almost never see growing. These are the farms, estates and growing regions where you can walk the rows, meet the people who pick, and taste the result where it was made.

Coffee

Coffee is a cherry before it is a bean. On a farm visit you see it picked, pulped, fermented, dried and roasted, and you learn why altitude, shade and processing change the cup. Harvest is the best time to go, and it falls in different months in each country.
