- 2 nights, 3 days
- Cahersiveen
- September to March (darkest skies)
- Up to 10 guests
Two nights on the Skellig coast. Forage the shore by day, eat the catch at night, then step outside into one of the darkest skies in Europe.
The hands-on moment
Seafood suppers, then a guided night in Ireland's Gold Tier Dark Sky Reserve.
The weekend

Learn to identify and gather Atlantic seaweeds with a local guide, with tastings on the beach.
Saturday lunch
Chowder by the water
A long lunch looking out towards the Skelligs.
Saturday afternoon
The Skellig coast
Walk the cliffs and coves of the Iveragh, or rest before the night.
Saturday night
Into the dark
A guided stargazing session in the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve: constellations, planets and the stories of the ancient sites around you.
Sunday morning
Slow walk and a sweet stop
A coast walk and a visit to a chocolate maker in Ballinskelligs. Home by mid-afternoon.
When to go
September to March (darkest skies)
Good to know
Stargazing depends on the weather. If the sky stays cloudy, the night session moves indoors for sky lore and storytelling.
